The green light has been given for a further two more gigs at Croke Park next years – paving the way for the expected return of Garth Brooks for a run of five nights.
Virgin Media News reported on Friday evening that Aiken Promotions has been advised that the licence for September 16th and 17th next year has been granted by Dublin City Council.
Separate gigs on 9th/10th/11th of September have already been permitted under the current planning laws. Aiken promotions says it will not be making any further comment.
Virgin Media News is reporting the concerts have been approved and will take place over two weekends next year.
Singer Ed Sheeran will play two concerts at Croke Park in April, bringing the total number of concerts at the Dublin venue in 2022 to seven.
