Iconic heavy metal band Iron Maiden have unveiled a trailer for their upcoming documentary, Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, which is set to arrive in cinemas on Thursday, 7 May.

The documentary promises an in-depth look at the band’s extraordinary legacy, offering fans a closer perspective on their rise and continued impact. "Directed by Malcolm Venville (Churchill at War) and produced by Dominic Freeman (Spirits in the Forest – A Depeche Mode Film), the feature-length documentary charts Iron Maiden's remarkable five-decade journey," says the synopsis.

The documentary not only highlights the band’s own story but also includes commentary from a range of well-known admirers. These voices help underline Iron Maiden’s far-reaching cultural and musical influence. "Alongside the band, the documentary features on-camera reflections from prominent admirers including Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich (Metallica), and Chuck D (Public Enemy), each speaking about Iron Maiden's influence on music, culture, and generations of fans worldwide."

 Iron Maiden have become one of the most successful and influential rock acts in history. Over the course of five decades, they have built a remarkable catalogue and a devoted global following. "Formed in East London in 1975, Iron Maiden have grown into one of the world's most influential and enduring rock bands. Across 50 years, they have released 17 studio albums, sold over 100 million records, and performed almost 2,500 concerts across 64 countries."
