Last Thursday, October 16th 2025, over 1,000 listeners packed into the fabulous SOHO Nightclub, on Dublin's D'olier Street to join our presenters & staff in celebrating 15 years of Radio Nova bringing seriously addictive music to the airwaves of Dublin, Kildare, Meath and Wicklow! The night kicked off with a very special LIVE 1-hour edition of "Friday Night 80's" (because Thursday IS the new Friday!), hosted by Dee Woods - including amazing prize giveaways presented by Marty Miller and Emily Brew. Breakfast radio legend Jim McCabe then took to the stage alongside Dee to give away the NOVA Gold Card - which was loaded up with €2,000, thanks to our sponsors 123ink.ie!
Following this, it was time for some live music, provided by Radio Nova's own Friday night Rock show host Vikki Martin and the "Nova Know-It-Alls" - who entertained the crowd with a set of high-octane songs from Nova favourites including AC/DC, Queen, Bon Jovi, The Killers, The Rolling Stones, Thin Lizzy, Whitesnake, Pink Floyd, Journey, The Cranberries and more.
Nova Drive host Pat Courtenay & Greg Gaughran from Nova Nights were on stage next to give 3 lucky listeners a live shot at the Nova Noise - and later, during a brief intermission, all the presenters made their way to the stage as station CEO Kevin Branigan made a short speech thanking them, the venue, the band and - of course - the listeners, for making Radio Nova's 15th birthday our biggest and best yet!

Finally, it was time for Vikki Martin to return to the stage, but this time in the guise of Stevie Nicks as StandBack - The Stevie Nicks Experience finished off the night with a bang!
As the station goes from strength to strength, Radio Nova wants to thank everyone who contributed to making our 15th birthday listener party such a massive success - and a special thank you to all our 269,000 listeners for making us the No. 1 music station in the Dublin commuter belt area! Stay tuned to Radio Nova for more fun, more huge competitions and the best seriously addictive music on the radio!
