Wicklow band Florence Road have thanked Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder for helping them out after their gear was stolen in Las Angeles.
Florence Road announced that they wouldn't be able to perform at California’s Ohana Festival as their gear had been stolen from their van in Los Angeles, California.
The band's caption read: “We’re absolutely devastated to say that we won’t be able to play our set at Ohana Festival today. Last night, all of our gear was stolen from our van in Los Angeles. Our guitars, pedal boards and everything we need to play our shows."
A little while later the band announced that they would after all be able to perform at the festival.
"What an insane 48 hours!!! We couldn't be more grateful to @eddievedder and the whole team at @theohanafest ❤️ We were met with such kindness, and the second Eddie heard our guitars were stolen he insisted that I play his. A true gentleman," the band posted along with photos of them with Vedder.
"We have the best team of people around us and this show would not have happened without them!! It does take a village!!! Big love to @fender for the guitars too <3 And everyone who reached out 🥲 We are lucky girls. Sliver (sic) linings always!!!!! See you soon New York Xx" the post continued.
