A woman in her 30s is being treated for serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Dublin city on Saturday night.
The incident occurred at North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, at approximately 11pm. Emergency services attended the scene, and the woman was taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí have launched an investigation into the collision and carried out a technical examination of the scene. North Wall Quay was temporarily closed between East Wall Road and Guild Street to facilitate forensic investigations but has since fully reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. They are particularly interested in hearing from road users who were travelling in the North Wall Quay area between 10.30pm and 11.15pm and may have camera footage, including dash-cam recordings.
