Over the weekend, Bruce Springsteen was joined onstage by Paul McCartney as they treated concert goers to a live cover of classic Beatles hit, 'Can't Buy Me Love'.
Beatles legend McCartney joined Springsteen on stage, live at Anfield Park, home of Liverpool Football Club last Saturday (June 7). They also covered 50s classic, Kansas City. You can check out footage of this below.
Rumours that McCartney was set to join Springsteen on stage were fuelled, after the pair had met up the previous day at the Liverpool Institute Of Performing Arts, which was founded by McCartney in the 1990s.
Bruce Springsteen was performing one of two nights at Anfield. as part of his UK and European Land Of Hope And Dreams tour, which has already seen him embroiled in a war of words with US President Donald Trump, who blasted Springsteen comments made by the Boss about his administration, which the singer called "treasonous" during a live show in Manchester.
In response, Donald Trump called Springsteen “highly overrated … not a talented guy – just a pushy, obnoxious JERK”.
At Anfield, Springsteen once more took aim at Trump: "When conditions in a country are ripe for a demagogue, you can bet one will show up. This is for America's dear leader".
Springsteen has received support from several artists in his ongoing feud with Trump, including Bono.
Both artists were mentioned by Trump when he said that a "major investigation" needed to be carried out into those musicians who supported his political rival Kamala Harris during last November's election. More on this story here.
