Tame Impala's new track 'Loser' was teased on a series of posters spotted in New York and Chicago last week, alongside a photo of Kevin Parker as a young boy.
In the new music video, Keery is seen to be having an argument with a woman before sitting outside a conveniant store appearing to be defeated. One point in the music video, Keery is seen morphing into a young Parker.
Keery, who goes by Djo, has taken over the music scene with his hit track "End of Beginning", his song gained popularity due to TikTok, as fans grew to love the nostalgic feeling it elicits.
Parker's new music video comes after his return in July, where he released the seven minute house inspired track, 'House of Summer'. Shortly before the release of 'House of Summer', Parker shared photographs to his Instagram revealing that he had "been busy" with new music, ending on an image that showed his progress with new tracks, showing that some of his tracks were 'mixed' and 'done'.
However, there is no other information on an upcoming fifth studio album. Tame Impala have not released a studio album since the release of 'The Slow Rush' over five years ago. However he has remained busy as he has contributed to the Barbie soundtrack and collaborated with Thundercat, Gorillaz, and Diana Ross.
Parker was also a co-producer and co-writer of Dua Lipa's 2024 album 'Radical Optimism', he joined the pop star on stage at Glastonbury this year.
