The wait for a first look is over! A brand new teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Disney+ Oasis reunion documentary, Don’t Look Back In Anger,” has just dropped, giving fans their very first glimpse into the biggest rock ‘n’ roll comeback of our time.

Released exactly one year to the day since Liam and Noel Gallagher finally buried the hatchet and kicked off their monumental Oasis Live ‘25 tour in Cardiff, Wales, the new clip teases an unapologetically uplifting, all-access look at the legendary British band.

Presented by Disney+, Magna Studios, and Sony Music, Don’t Look Back In Anger” is set to hit select IMAX and cinemas worldwide for a limited theatrical engagement starting in September, before streaming exclusively on Disney+ internationally later this year.

"The First Joint Interview in 25 Years"

The documentary charts the complete whirlwind of the Oasis Live ‘25 world tour, capturing the raw, electric emotion of the band and the generations of fans who turned out to witness history.

Production was granted unprecedented access to the Gallagher brothers, offering a perspective never seen before by the public. Viewers can look forward to:

  • Inner-sanctum rehearsal footage.
  • Exclusive backstage and raw onstage access.
  • The first joint interviews with Noel and Liam Gallagher in over 25 years.

Beyond the music, the film deeply explores the profound emotional impact of the reunion, examining what Oasis means to different generations across the globe.

A Heavyweight Creative Team

The documentary boasts some massive star power behind the camera. It was created by BAFTA and Oscar-nominated writer, producer, and director Steven Knight (the mastermind behind Peaky Blinders and A Thousand Blows), and directed by the acclaimed duo Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Shut Up and Play the Hits, Meet Me in the Bathroom).

Creator Steven Knight shared his immense excitement for the film, emphasizing its dual focus on the brothers and the global community of fans:

"I genuinely cannot wait for the world to see this film. I believe it captures the spirit and emotion of a global cultural moment and does justice to the wit and genius of two exceptional people. I wanted to tell the story of the brothers and the band, but just as important, the story of the fans whose lives the music has touched and sometimes changed forever. It is also the story of how music and songwriting can unite generations, cultures, countries and in a time of spite and division, give us all some reason to hope."

Highlighting the historic weight of getting Liam and Noel in the same room again, Knight added:

“The Oasis world tour united generations, cultures and countries and spoke to a broken world about reconciliation. ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is not only your ticket to the show – it’s a backstage pass and a seat at the table when Liam and Noel sit down together for the first time in 15 years and tell it how it is and how it was.”

Eric Schrier, President of Direct-to-Consumer International Originals at Disney, echoed the sentiment, calling the project a "rare opportunity."

"The film is an intimate story of reconciliation, the power of music, and Oasis, one of the most successful and influential acts of all time. It’s a privilege to bring this extraordinary film to the big screen and to Disney+ subscribers around the world."

Industry Titans Driving the Sound and Vision

A Magna Studios production presented by Sony Music, the film's technical credits read like a Hollywood powerhouse.

The project is produced by Sam Bridger (Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now) and Guy Heeley (Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man). The creative technical team features stunning visuals from cinematographer Haris Zambarloukos (Belfast, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and an immersive audio experience crafted by Oscar-winning sound mixers James Mather (Top Gun: Maverick) and Tarn Willers (The Zone of Interest).

When and Where to Watch

  • Cinemas & IMAX Worldwide: From September (Limited theatrical engagement).

  • Streaming: On Disney+ internationally later this year.

Further details, including local cinema listings and ticket sales, are expected to be announced soon.
