Saturday Night Live UK has returned and their move was to poke fun at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to England.
In August, it was revealed that Markle and Prince Harry would be returning to the UK with their two kids after living in California for six years.
The announcement of their moved gained a lot of attention as people speculated if the move meant that Markle would be returning to acting.
The most recent episode of SNL UK was hosted by Jeff Goldblum with CMAT as a musical guest.
The cold open opened at Balmoral Castle in Scotland, with Larry Dean portraying King Charles II alongside Emma Sidi’s Queen Camilla, who quipped: “I do love our weekends away. No responsibilities, just like every other day.”
They were then interrupted by Jack Shep as Harry and Ayoade Bamgboye's Meghan who annoy Charles by remaining in each others arms.
Charles said to the couple: “What do you two want? Don’t tell me you’ve spent that Netflix money already.”
“Daddy, it was $16 million. How long was it supposed to last?," Harry replied. “What a waste you’ve become, you’re lucky your father is not around to see this," Charles fired back.
Elsewhere in the skit, Meghan’s lifestyle brand was also the target of a few jibes. After presenting Camilla with an ice tray, she says: “I made it myself, I can give you the recipe. I’m a whizz in the kitchen,” prompting Harry to quip: “She hires the best chefs.”
It has been confirmed that Jamie Demetriou will host next weeks show with Royal Blood serving as the musical guest.
