The incident occurred on Friday night in Braniel Estate at around 10:15pm.
Lyttle was taken to hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the fall. Where he died from the injuries on Saturday.
The PSNI have said that they are investigating the circumstances of the fall and the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) has also been informed.
3 loyalist groups in the area announced Lyttles death on social media. The groups stated that after talks with Lyttle's family and careful deliberation the bonfire would go ahead with a minutes silence in honour of Lyttle.
The statement read: “As a community, we are heartbroken by this tragic loss and ask that everyone keeps his loved ones in their prayers in the days and weeks ahead.”
“We respectfully ask everyone attending to join us in observing a minute’s silence in Warren’s memory before the bonfire is lit.”
We also ask that, once the bonfire has been lit, everyone pays their respects by dispersing quietly and respectfully afterwards."
