The BBC has dropped their new Ozzy Osbourne documentary from Monday's schedule, with a new air date set to be confirmed.
The documentary, Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which was due to be broadcasted on BBC last night at 9pm, has been replaced by an episode of Fake or Fortune? instead. No reason for this change of schedule was given.
It was set to show the late musician reuniting with his Black Sabbath bandmates on stage as part of their farewell tour, Back to the Beginning farewell concert on July 5. It was originally produced as a series when it was first announced in 2022 and named Home To Roost.
"The film has moved in the schedules and we'll confirm new TX (transmission) details in due course", a BBC spokesperson said.
Last weekend, Aston Villa paid a moving tribute to Ozzy Osbourne ahead of Saturday's opening Premier League match with Newcastle, which included a video paying tribute following the team's pre match warm up, as both sides walked out to footage of the musician performing 'Crazy Train' at that farewell show.
It also included a mural on the outside wall of the Holte Pub also include an image of Ozzy, with the words 'Ozzy Forever' painted on it, while the official match programme's cover, as well as a tribute to the singer, and an illustration showing Osbourne walking up the steps to the ground wearing a No 9 shirt with the word Ozzy above it.
