Bell bottoms at the ready, country fans, as we’re about to get a Netflix show from one of the genre’s biggest stars!
It’s already set to be a big week with new music from Ella Langley and Luke Combs on the way, and now we’ve another reason to be excited.
On Wednesday, none other than Lainey Wilson announced that she’s inviting fans into her life and wants everyone to ‘make yourself at home.’
Lainey has been filming the show for the past couple of years, so we’re expecting it to cover lots of her big achievements in music and her engagement.
‘It’s one thing to sing about your life, but it’s another to open the door and let people in to watch it unfold,’ Lainey said in the announcement.
She continued: ‘Going into this, I thought I was going to be sharing some things about me and my life nobody knew, but I truly think during the couple years of filming I figured some things out about myself.
‘I opened the door to my house, my life, my relationships and things I haven’t allowed many people to see.
'My folks always taught me to make everybody feel at home so I want y’all to come on in and make yourself at home.’
In a teaser for the show, Netflix said: ‘Lainey Wilson: Keepin’ Country Cool follows Wilson as she redefines what it means to be a modern country star, proving that staying true to yourself can lead to major success.
‘The film captures a pivotal moment in her career, exploring the country icon’s personal journey and chronicling her struggles and triumphs as she captivates fans on stage across the country.’
Fans were delighted to see the announcement, with many saying they ‘couldn’t wait’ to watch and would be ‘cancelling all plans’ for release day.
