Black Panther - Letitia Wright as Shuri.

Black Panther star Letitia Wright has deleted her entire social media after a backlash for sharing an anti-vaccination video online.

The actress was criticised for posting a link to a video debating the legitimacy of the coronavirus vaccine from YouTube channel ‘On The Table‘, alongside a prayer hands emoji.

The video was removed by YouTube for violating its terms of service.

Wright’s post was also deleted after it was shared along with her entire social media portfolio.

The controversial video featured dubious claims about climate change, transphobic comments and accused China of spreading COVID-19 across the globe.

She later wrote: My intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention of posting the video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies…Nothing else.

Letitia’s fellow Marvel star, actor Don Cheadle dubbed it.

“Hot garbage. Every time I stopped and listened, he and everything he said sounded crazy and fkkkd up.

“I would never defend anybody posting this. but I still won’t throw her away over it. The rest, I’ll take off Twitter. Had no idea.”
