Bohemians will remain at Dalymount Park until the end of May 2027, following an agreement with Dublin City Council.

The club had been due to leave their Phibsboro home at the end of the 2026 season to allow redevelopment work to begin.

Bohemians say the change will allow them to “absolutely minimise our time away” from Dalymount Park and only leave when it is immediately required.

The redevelopment will see a new 8,000-capacity stadium built at the site, with the project expected to be completed in time for the start of the 2029 season.

However, the move will mean changes to Bohemians' home fixtures in 2027.

The floodlights at Dalymount Park will be removed later this year, meaning the men's team will not play Friday night home games during the first few months of next season.

The Tramway End terrace, which was first erected in 1928, will also be demolished.

Bohemians' final home game under the Dalymount floodlights will be against Shelbourne on Friday, October 23rd.

The club says its men's team will play at more than one venue during the remainder of the 2027 season and throughout 2028 while redevelopment work continues.

Details of the exact days and times for men's and women's home fixtures will be confirmed at a later date.

Bohemians have also reiterated that they intend to return to Dalymount Park for the start of the 2029 season.
