Bouncer Stabbed Multiple Times Outside West Dublin Nightclub

A doorman was rushed to hospital after he was stabbed a number of times outside a west Dublin nightclub. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The night club doorman was working at Buzz nightclub in the Red Cow complex when he was stabbed just after midnight.

It’s reported that the victim (in his 30s) was stabbed up to three times in the vicious assault.

He was rushed to Tallaght Hospital where his injuries are believed to be not life-threatening. Gardai say their investigations into the attack are ongoing.

A garda spokesman said via Dublin Live: “Gardai are investigating an assault incident that occurred at a licensed premises in the Naas Road area of Dublin 22 on 9/11/19 at approximately 12:15am.

“A man in his 30s received stab type wounds and was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.

“Investigations are continuing. No arrests have been made.”
