Car Free Dublin City Trials Extended

Dublin City Council have announced that following extremely positive feedback, it has decided to extend the weekend Grafton St Area Pedestrian Trial.

This is the 3rd consecutive weekend of the car-free trials and a number of streets will therefore be closed to traffic from 11am to 11pm this Saturday and Sunday.

The locations closed to traffic are:Dublin, Car Free Dublin City Trials Extended

  • Anne Street South from the junction of Dawson Street
  • Duke Street from the junction of Dawson Street
  • South William Street from the Brown Thomas carpark exit to Chatham Row
  • Drury Street from Fade Street to the Drury Street carpark
  • Dame Court From Exchequer street

Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times and 5 disabled parking bays will be moved to alternative locations during the times of the trials.

Work has also been carried out on Anne Street South to exten the pavement to provide extra space for pedestrians and outdoor seating.
