The Red Hot Chili Peppers delivered a special surprise performance at drummer Chad Smith’s children’s high school. Check out video below!
Adorned in full Halloween regalia, Smith tweeted news about the show yesterday (October 31). The Chilis drummer said, “Who rocks out at 9:30a.m. at my kids school? We do!” The impromptu gig took place at Viewpoint School in Calabasas, California and it was part of an assembly to celebrate Halloween.
Each band member was dressed in costume. Smith dressed up in a Guy Fawkes mask and Pope combo. Flea was a skeleton bassist in a body suit and frotnman Anthony Kiedis was adorned in shorts and a mask. Meanwhile, Josh Klinghoffer got togged out in a green wig and some sunglasses.

A couple of parents played a mini-concert at my friend’s kid’s school. Turned out it was the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which seems like one of the most LA things ever.
