Coldplay's Chris Martin surprised a couple on their wedding day by performing during their first dance over the weekend.
The nuptials took place last Saturday (December 13) at Blithfield Lakeside Barns in Rugeley, Staffordshire, with Martin treating the stunned couple to a live performance of 'All My Love' from Coldplay's 2024 album, 'Moon Music'.
This first came about after the band were contacted by the groom's mother, hoping to receive a video of Martin wishing the couple the very best ahead of the wedding.
But Coldplay's team replied: "We can do one better", and promised to show up on their big day. Footage shows Chris Martin sneaking into the venue incognito, before telling guests "See you later", and quickly leaving.
It was reported in Metro that the happy couple were first unaware of Chris Martin singing, with his appearance coming as a complete surprise to them. Check out the footage right here.
News of this comes in the same month as Coldplay celebrate the tenth anniversary of their 2015 album, A Head Full Of Dreams, included songs, Hymn For The Weekend, Adventure Of A Lifetime, Birds, Up&Up, and Everglow.

In other news, Martin admitted that he was worried about moving on from Coldplay.
Speaking in The Sun's newspaper Bizarre column, Martin said that he was worried about stepping towards moving on from the band, having previously revealed that they will stop making new records after they share their 12th studio album.
"I’m trying to let go of everything, but I still love my job. I love it and maybe that’s not good. I love all of it, even all of the nonsense. I’m so grateful", he said. I love our band, I love what we do, I love the songs that come through, I love where we get to go, I love the view of the world that it gives us. We see the thing that connects humans more than most people see. I love it. So maybe that means I’m attached to it".
