Last week, Crowded House’s Neil Finn was spotted busking at an Auckland Market.
Finn surprised everybody, when he performed special covers of three tracks ‘Distant Sun’, ‘I Got You’, and ‘Don’t Dream Its Over’.

‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’
Speaking of Neil Finn, last month, U2 treated fans to a live cover of that classic Crowded House ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ at their opening show of their Vegas residency for 2024.
Performing the track, Bono and co treated fans to this live cover, as a tribute to Neil Finn, as well as his brother and long time collaborator Tim.
U2 will finish off this residency in March, having extended their residency due to high demand. Check out this cover and Nova’s report on this here.
Last November, Crowded House also confirmed that they would be making a much anticipated return to Ireland next year.
The band announced an open-air show at Cork’s Musgrave Park, taking place on 23 June this year, four years on from when the band released their first new single in a decade.
