A bus tour from Derry to Dublin for a day of shopping has been cancelled.
A company in the North was running the service as shops there are due to close because of restrictions, while shops here are expected to re-open next week.
The company received a backlash online for organising a group trip to a Dublin shopping centre during Covid-19 restrictions, and has since announced the event planned for December won’t be going ahead.
It says “after double checking travel restrictions, it’s not possible at this time“.
Meanwhile Dundrum Shopping Centre had distanced itself from the trip, saying it wasn’t in line with Government guidance, or affiliated with the centre.
