The Foo Fighters released a brand new song, ‘Dirty Water’ during their gig on Monday at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris. It will feature on the band’s upcoming LP ‘Concrete and Gold’ which is being released on the 15th of September.

Front-man Dave Grohl sings over a textured mix of guitars in the first half of the alt-rock tune. As always with Foo Fighters, there’s opportunity for head-banging in the song’s second half, when the band rock out after a brief moment of silence.

This new release comes after another tune ‘Lah Dee Dah’ from the LP was released onstage in Iceland. The upcoming LP has been recorded with producer Greg Kurstin, the pop producer who has worked with the likes of Pink, Sia and Adele. The highly anticipated release is following up the band’s ‘Saint Cecilia’ 2015 EP.

This week the band closed Rock Werchter festival in Belgium. Dave Grohl was gifted a guitar signed by Foo Fighters fans from radio station ‘Studio Brussel’ and he played the guitar throughout the set. Upon receiving the signed guitar, Grohl was extremely impressed saying “This is the first time anyone has ever done that for me. This is amazing. Wow, this is so cool.” See Grohl receiving the signed guitar below.

The band are joining Liam Gallagher and Queens of the Stone Age to headline a new one-day festival ‘Cal Jam 17′, in San Bernardino in California on October 7th. One week later the rockers will go on tour to promote the ‘Concrete and Gold’ LP in North America.
