It would appear that the life of Donald Trump inspired AC/DC to write a song.
This happened as the band were preparing their comeback album, The Razor's Edge in 1990, about the same time that Donald Trump's affair with Marla Maples was hitting the headlines, despite being married to his first wife Ivana at the time.
This seemed to inspire the band to write the lyrics for 'Mistress for Christmas', which included the verses: "I like female form in minimum dress / Money to spend with a capital S / Get a date with the woman in red / Wanna be in Heaven with three in a bed".
Speaking previously to Guitar World, AC/DC's Angus Young described 'Mistress for Christmas' as "funniest song on The Razor's Edge".
“That song's about Donald Trump,” the guitarist said. “He was big news at the time, so we thought we'd have a bit of fun and humour with it".
He also added: “You always have a bit of the 'ol fool-around now and again".
The Razor's Edge which arrived in September 1990, also featured AC/DC classics 'Moneytalks' and 'Thunderstruck', as well as 'Mistress For Christmas'. But it remains one of the few songs that the band never performed live.

Back in November, 374 bagpipers joined forces to play another classic AC/DC track, 'It's A Long Way To The Top', which was part of an attempt to set a world record, which was previously held by bagpipers who joined forces to play a song in Bulgaria in 2012.
This event was named 'The Great Melbourne Bagpipe Bash', and was set up to coincide with the beginning of AC/DC's tour down under. Initially, they were hoping for 350 bagpipers, before 374 eventually turned up, setting a new record.
“It didn't strike you at the time how big this event is until now," Kenfield explained to Australian Broadcasting Corp (per The Temple Daily Telegraph). “Now it’s one of the greatest things — probably the greatest thing I’ve ever done in my life".
