One area of Dublin has been named one of the ''coolest neighbourhoods in the world!''
Dublin 8 has been listed as the 15th coolest neighbourhood on the planet, in fact.
Described as ''capturing the essence and charm of the capital to a tee'' – it ranked higher than neighbourhoods in the likes of Vancouver, Paris and Amsterdam.
TimeOut, which polled 27,000 people and got feedback from local experts, highlighted Cultural hotspots like Lucky's Pub and green spaces such as the War Memorial Gardens.
With much of the city being steadily consumed by new steel and concrete developments, many soaring upwards, it says this area retains much of its original architecture as well as character and charm, even with plenty of positive changes in the past year too.
Lucky’s pub on Meath Street has rotating exhibitions, while the Pearse Lyons Distillery takes tours around its church distillery again.
The dog friendly café, The Fumbally also boasts locally made treats and kickass coffee while the equally dog friendly MVP on Clanbrassil street is a burgeoning hot spot.
The report goes on to highlight bric-à-brac shops, street art, markets, 'homey' cafés, as well as some of the city’s ''hottest foodie talent''.
Locals can also buy organic produce in the Dublin Food Co-op which has sustainability workshops and other community events.

''This area didn't always be so attractive or nice, and I think through a few businesses that kinda brought everyone together and then it attracted more businesses to the area.''
