Irish households will be forced to produce proof that they’re dumping waste legally. New bylaws to be introduced by the end of the year. This will see local authorities with increased powers to request documents that prove residents are disposing of waste through the legal channels.

According to The sunday Times,  Irish households will face fines for lack of waste receipts It comes as the Environmental protection agency reports an increase in the amount of fly-tipping and illegal dumping. The Sunday Times also reports the new laws will see households obliged to sign up to an authorised collection service or deliver their waste to a facility.
