Dundalk striker Daryl Horgan was involved in dramatic scenes after a supporter ran onto the pitch during Friday night's League of Ireland clash with Shamrock Rovers.
Horgan had just scored from the penalty spot to make it 2-2 when he celebrated in front of the home supporters.

The celebration appeared to anger one Shamrock Rovers fan, who then ran onto the pitch and approached the Dundalk players.
Horgan initially tried to calm the situation.
The former Republic of Ireland international raised his hands and appeared to act as a peacemaker as the supporter made his way towards him.
However, tensions quickly grew.
Horgan was then seen trying to hold back his teammates as the fan continued towards the Dundalk players.
The supporter appeared to attempt to throw a punch before stewards intervened.
He was eventually escorted away from the pitch, although he continued trying to get towards the Dundalk players before being removed.

The incident came after Horgan's equaliser in what had been an action-packed first half at Tallaght Stadium.
Shamrock Rovers took the lead after just three minutes when Dylan Watts converted a penalty.
Dundalk levelled 12 minutes later when Robert Cornwall bundled the ball into the net following a Horgan corner.
The hosts regained their lead shortly afterwards when Michael Noonan headed home.
Horgan then brought Dundalk level again from the penalty spot in the 27th minute.
The pitch invasion overshadowed what had been an entertaining first half between two of the League of Ireland's biggest clubs.
Horgan is a familiar name to Irish football supporters.
The 32-year-old has represented the Republic of Ireland at international level and has also played for a number of clubs in Ireland and the UK.
He joined Wycombe Wanderers in 2020 after leaving Hibernian and made 101 appearances for the club during his three years at Adams Park.
Horgan returned to the League of Ireland after leaving Wycombe permanently in 2023 and is now playing for Dundalk.
There could also be consequences for Shamrock Rovers following Friday night's incident.
The supporter was removed from the pitch by stewards, but any potential disciplinary action will depend on the League of Ireland and the Football Association of Ireland.
The incident comes after Drogheda United were punished earlier this season following an incident involving supporters throwing pyrotechnics onto the pitch during a game against Dundalk.
