Eddie Vedder has paid a sweet tribute to Glen Hansard by busking in his spot along Dublin City centre.
The singer sadly passed away last month in a motorcycle accident aged 56, while travelling back from a trad session at the Wren's Pub in Dublin.
His funeral took place at St Patrick's Cathedral in Dublin last week, where U2 singer Bono read out the band's 2000 hit, 'Beautiful Day' in tribute to Hansard. The funeral was also attended by Chris O'Dowd and Steve Coogan, as well as Eddie Vedder.

Glen Hansard, the musician and Oscar winning actor, had started his career busking along Grafton Street when he was 13 years old. In a sweet tribute to him, Eddie Vedder was recently spotted along the same spot with local musicians following Hansard's funeral at St Patrick's Cathedral.
This short session saw the Pearl Jam lead singer play his band's classic hit, 'Black', as well as Bruce Springsteen's 'Drive All Night', while playing Hansard's guitar. Check out the footage below.

Last month, a special group of musicians had gathered around Dublin City centre, near the statue of Luke Kelly to sing some of Glen Hansard's hits, including his Oscar winning track, Falling Slowly as part of a special busking session. It took place near the Gaiety Theatre, a place where Hansard also held his traditional Christmas Eve charity busk.
It was organised by Jamie Harrington, a musician from the same Ballymun suburb where Glen Hansard grew up.
"You know, it's a really, really sad time. Glen was a legend to many of us. He was a friend to me, and I was very lucky to have Glen as a friend and as someone I could rely on and depend on when things needed to be done", he told RTÉ Entertainment.
Elsewhere, former US President, Barack Obama shared his annual summer playlist for 2026, which included 'Song of Good Hope' from Hansard's 2012 album, Rhythm And Repose.
In a tribute to Hansard, Obama also wrote: “It starts with a song [wife] Michelle and I love by Glen Hansard, a great musician who passed tragically this week".
