The popular chicken wing fast food restaurant Wingstop is set to open its first restaurant in Ireland, and it’s coming much sooner than you may think!

The beloved fast food chain, which opened its first shop in Texas in the US, was teasing its first restaurant in the country in the Liffey Valley shopping centre back in September.

Now, the chain has confirmed that they’re opening in the capital, and if you need to do your Christmas shopping in Liffey Valley, you’re in luck, as it’s set to open next month.

And if you’re in the mood for a cheeky takeaway, you’re in luck as it will be available on Deliveroo from day one.

The Wingstop is set to be at the entrance of the Yellow Car Park, where the old Starbucks used to be.

‘We’re excited to bring the Wingstop UKI flavour to Ireland – our first stop outside of the UK,’ a Wingstop spokesperson said. ‘Ireland has an energy that matches our own and we can’t wait to connect with local brands, creatives and charities to make a difference in the communities we will serve.

‘We’re also proud to be creating more than just job opportunities in Ireland. Through our training and development programmes, crew members joining Wingstop UKI will have the chance to build meaningful careers, with leadership opportunities and the ongoing support they need to succeed.’

‘Wingstop UKI is a highly scalable business, and we have ambitious plans to open more locations across the country. We know our delicious wings and bold flavours will prove to be a hit with Irish customers and we can’t wait to welcome them in store.’
