Wingstop has finally revealed the location of its first Irish restaurant, confirming that the US chicken chain will officially open in Liffey Valley, Dublin, on Monday, 8 December at 11am. After weeks of teasing, fans now know exactly where to queue — and there’s good reason to do so, as the first 100 customers will receive free wings to mark the launch.
Alongside the dine-in restaurant at Liffey Valley, a delivery-only kitchen will also operate from day one through Deliveroo. Wingstop has also confirmed long-term expansion plans, aiming to open 20 locations across Ireland within the next seven years, signalling a significant investment in the market at a time when Dublin’s fast-casual scene continues to grow rapidly.
For newcomers, Wingstop is best known for its chicken wings, which come coated in a wide range of bold, American-style flavours. Among the most popular are Lemon Pepper, Mango Habanero, Louisiana Rub, and the fiery Atomic. The chain is also famous for its ranch dip, which has become something of a cult favourite among US fans, to the point where many consider it essential with any order.
While pricing will vary slightly by flavour and portion size, Wingstop typically sits in the mid-range of the fast-food market. Standard bone-in wings usually fall around the €7–€9 mark for smaller portions, with boneless wings and tenders coming in slightly higher. Sides such as seasoned fries are generally a few euro, with options like Cajun or loaded fries costing a little more. The brand also serves extras including churros and milkshakes, aligning with its American comfort-food style.
With the long-anticipated Liffey Valley opening now confirmed, Dubliners finally get to see what the hype is about — and judging by the planned roll-out across the country, this won’t be the last time Wingstop makes headlines here.
