Foo Fighters have said that every record has felt like it could be their "last".

The band have discussed this ahead of their upcoming album, 'Your Favourite Toy', as well as sharing its title track.

This comes as the Foos frontman Dave Grohl looked back at the longevity of the band, while admitting that he sometimes feels surprised about how long that they have kept going.

In a recent interview, Grohl was reminded that the Beatles finished up after their 12th album, 'Let It Be', a milestone that Foo Fighters will reach later this year. The singer is not so sure when his band will release their final album.

He said: “Every record has been our last record. So, I kind of feel like at this point you just kind of—you make a record and you go, ‘OK, well, let’s do it again and let’s see what happens".

'Your Favourite Toy' will arrive via Roswell Records/Columbia Records on April 24.

Prior to this, Dave Grohl had been teasing about this album's release for weeks, including updating their website with a new home page, where they turned it into an interactive page, and included snippets of new material. This update includes a run of photos, with each one featuring a 10 second clip of a then unreleased track.

"‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album,” frontman Grohl said a few weeks ago. “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new".

Foo Fighters’ ‘Your Favorite Toy’ tracklist is:

‘Caught In The Echo’
‘Of All People’
‘Window’
‘Your Favorite Toy’
‘If You Only Knew’
‘Spit Shine’
‘Unconditional’
‘Child Actor’
‘Amen, Caveman’
‘Asking For A Friend’

This also comes after Foo Fighters rocked the stage at Dingle's St James Church, which was recorded for an Other Voices televised show. Find out more here.
