Arsenal legend, Tony Adams has sold his luxury mansion in the Cotswolds to Liam Gallagher, so his wife can go to university.
This comes after Adams, former Arsenal and England captain, sold the property in December, having initially listed it in 2025, reportedly worth £4 million. Adams had owned the property since 2002, having bought it for "half the price" he had later listed it for, according to reports in the Irish Sun.
This glamorous property is located near Cirencester in the Cotswolds and is set around five acres of land. It also features a swimming pool, tennis court, stables and a two bed cottage.
Adams came to this decision, so his wife Poppy Teacher can attend university, having been pursuing a new passion.
Speaking about this, Adams said: “This is a new era for us".
“We’ve sold the house and are returning to London. My wife is going back to school", he added.
Speaking about this move, Poppy added: “I told Tony I wanted to do early modern history and he said, ‘How do you monetise that?’ and I said ‘You don’t!’
“But I think he’s proud. He’s telling everyone I’m doing a PhD, but it’s a masters", she said. “I’ve brought up the children, but now I need to use my brain again.
“Tony and I want to have a London life, do things like go to galleries".
Meanwhile, it appears that Liam Gallagher is loving life in the Cotswolds.
When asked if there were any "friendly neighbours", Gallagher said: “They’re absolutely incredible, they have not stopped baking me cakes and scones". (All quotes according to Daily Mail).

Speaking of Oasis, it was announced that the documentary, looking back at their reunion tour, Oasis: Don't Look Back In Anger, was to be premiered at the Venice International Film Festival in September.
The film will also arrive in selected IMAX cinemas and theatres that same month on September 11, before streaming exclusively on Disney+ internationally, as well as on Hulu and Disney+ US later this year. More on this from Nova here.
