Gardaí have issued a fresh witness appeal as part of their investigation into the death of 35-year-old Yves Sakila following an alleged shoplifting incident in Dublin in May.
Mr Sakila, who had been living in Ireland since his teenage years, died following the incident on Henry Street on 15 May.
Gardaí were alerted that afternoon after security personnel detained Mr Sakila in connection with an alleged shoplifting incident.
During the incident, a man in his 80s was injured as Mr Sakila allegedly attempted to flee the scene.
Gardaí said Mr Sakila subsequently became unresponsive and was taken to the Mater Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
In a statement, gardaí said they have now received a completed postmortem report into Mr Sakila's death. The report is not being released for operational reasons.
Gardaí said a man and a young woman were also knocked to the ground during the incident.
They have spoken to the injured man but have yet to speak to the woman.
She has been described as white and aged in her late teens to early 20s.
At the time, she was wearing a khaki-coloured, waist-length coat, a black crop top, blue jeans cut at the knees and black Adidas runners.
Gardaí said the woman got up herself after being knocked to the ground and remained in the area for a few minutes before making her way towards O'Connell Street.
Investigators are appealing to her to come forward as they believe she may have information that could assist the investigation.
Gardaí also believe there are other people who were in the area at the time and who have not yet spoken to the investigating team.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Store Street Garda Station on 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line, or any Garda station.
