Here’s Your Chance To Play Glastonbury 2019!

Glastonbury Festival organisers have revealed the details of their Emerging Talent Competition for 2019. The contest allows unsigned bands from both the UK and Ireland from any genre to compete. The prize is a slot at the 2019 festival!

It’s a free entry competition and winners will be given a £5,000 development prize from the PRS Foundation. Two runners up will also be given £2,500.

According to the NME, past winners and finalists of the contest have been a diverse selection of artists. Such as, R&B singer Izzy Bizu, singer song-writer Declan McKenna and politically driven pop group She Drew The Gun.

Applications can be submitted from 9 am on Monday, January 28th until 5pm on Monday, February 4th on the Glastonbury Festival website. Bands will need to provide a link to one original track on SoundCloud, plus a link to a video of themselves performing live anywhere…even your bedroom.
