Already packed with the hottest international and Irish acts for this August Bank Holiday weekend, The Beatyard have announced a host of family friendly activities for Kidsyard!

Kidsyard at The Beatyard provides enjoyable, creative fun zones where kids and their families can time out and relax within festival space.

Kidsyard activities will be popping up around the festival in multiple areas to guarantee more than enough craic to keep those kiddies busy that parents might even want to get involved themselves.

It includes Imaginosity, Dabbledoo Music, CoderDojo, Craftsyard, Legoyard, Adventure Rooms and more!

The fantastic Imaginosity brings lots of creative excitement, fun and learning with Giant Geometrics, Jammin Jellyfish and Funky Fish workshops, while Dabbledoo Music is an award winning new approach to music education with animation and graphics to help kids of all ages learn about music.

CoderDojo sessions offer fun and learning to all the young ‘Ninjas’ in coding workshops and there is child-friendly food and snacks, coffee for tired parents, baby changing and the wonderful Buggyyard - where you can lay that buggy down to rest while at play.

Creativity will be flowing in our Craftsyard where children can engage in imaginative and fun arts and crafts activities. There'll also be nautical themed face painting and balloon making, and the big highlight - Legoyard!

Tickets are on sale now from www.the-beatyard.com and www.eventbrite.ie. Kids from age 2 - 15 just €5. Babies 0-2 Go Free. Please note that all ticket prices are plus booking fee. Friday kicks off at 4pm, Saturday and Sunday kick off at 12pm.

Please note that parents and adults are responsible for their kids and must accompany them at all times. For all other info visit: http://www.the-beatyard.com/kidsyard.

When I'm not at my desk you'll find me hiding behind a lens, a book or attending GAA games across the country. If not, I'll be busy complaining about the weather!

Also – I’m a festival lover, so when the summers out I spend most of my time nestled in the sweaty trench of any concert hall that will let me in the doors...

Standard and basic – enjoy :)
