Kings of Leon surprise fans at their Golden Gate park performance by bringing out Zach Bryan to debut their new song 'We're Onto Something.'

The bands new single 'We're Onto Something' will be released this Friday the 22nd of August. Bryan joined the band in San Francisco to perform their new single along with their recent collaboration 'Bowery' which was released earlier this month.

Kings of Leon have taken time away from the stage this year, after being forced to cancel a run of UK and European shows this summer due to a freak accident involving the bands frontman. Followill underwent emergency surgery in May after shattering his heel whilst playing with his children.

Followill was recently opening for Bryan whilst he was on tour, and even performed with Bruce Springstein in his home state New Jersey just last month.

The band returned to the stage just month and have a number of upcoming shows including Electric Picnic in Stradbally where they will headline the Sunday night of the festival. Due to the frontmans injury and the number of previous cancelled shows, fans speculated that the band may pull out of the highly anticipated festival. However there is no need to worry as they are back up and running, with an upcoming gig in the UK later this week at Come Together Festival in Newcastle and Victorious Festival in Portsmouth on Sunday.

The bands shows this summer are to celebrate their ninth studio album 'Can We Please Have Fun', which was released in May of this year.
