As expected the Irish provinces have rung the changes for tomorrow’s inter provincial derbies in the Guinness PRO14. Many of the changes are due to the five-day turnaround from the New Years Day fixtures and with the Champions Cup returning next week.
Leinster have made 13 switches for their clash with Ulster, with Garry Ringrose and Fergus McFadden the only players to keep their places. Ross Byrne’s been selected at out-half for the Blues and head-coach Leo Cullen has been pleased by Byrne’s development
Ulster have been boosted by the return of captain Rory Best for their trip to the R-D-S to face Leinster tomorrow. Academy scrum-half Johnny Stewart starts for Les Kiss’ team for the first time, partnering Christian Lealiifano in the half-backs.
The match kicks off at 5:35pm tomorrow.
TG4’s coverage begins at 5:20pm, BBC 2 Northern Ireland begin their coverage at 5:30pm and build-up on Sky Sports Main Event also starts at 5:30.
