Liam Gallagher has reacted to Oasis' fall in the standings in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2026 vote.

As things stand, Oasis have earned over 100,000 votes, with Phil Collins currently top of the list with over 300,000, which prompted Gallagher to sarcastically thank fans for their support: “I’d like to thank all the people who HAVENT voted for us from the bottom of my HEART this is for you thanks".

In a separate post, Liam Gallagher commented on those who did not vote:  “And to all the people who voted for us,” he wrote, “SIT DOWN".

Oasis were nominated alongside with Jeff Buckley, Joy Division/New Order and Mariah Carey, as well as INXS, Shakira, Luther Vandross, Lauryn and Pink. More on this here.

Last month, Liam Gallagher also said that he "can't be arsed" attending this weekend's BRIT Awards, despite being nominated along with his brother Noel for the Songwriter Of The Year award.

“Oasis don’t need another award,” he wrote on X. “It’ll only go to our heads.” He added that he “just can’t be arsed with all that bollocks".

Gallagher also had this to say regarding his possible attendance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Awards.

“Obv go collect it and tell the panel of judges how lovely they all look thank all the fans that voted for us and wreck the gaff", he said. More on this from Nova here.

As for Noel, it was recently announced that the song writer had split from his girlfriend Sally Marsh after two years together. Reports had suggested that the pair went on their separate ways, but still remain on good terms.

"Noel and Sally split earlier this year. There was nothing dramatic, it was amicable, they just weren't right for each other", a source told the Sun. "Noel and Sally have stayed the best of friends, there's no bad blood there". More on this report here.
