Liam Gallagher would love the idea of making another album with John Squire.

The former Oasis singer said as much in a new Instagram reel at their recent London show, as the duo wrap up their UK/Ireland leg of their tour.

Having released their self titled debut album earlier this year, John Squire had previously hinted that a second album between the pair was imminent.

“The guitar fights back,” Squire simply said, with Gallagher chiming in, “If John comes up with another load of songs that are banging, they’ll get it as well”. More on this story from Nova here.

Gallagher calls sharing the stage with Squire: “mega”

In this new Instagram reel, Liam Gallagher called touring with John Squire: “mega”, while added that:  “Being on stage with John Squire, the band is top so I’ve got to be right on my f****** game. Hence why I’m having face packs and early nights”.

On the longevity of this album, the pair also added, “Hopefully it’s one of those records that’s got legs and stays around for a while”.

Gallagher also remarked, “I think it’s got legs, man. It could be a good thing, and it’d be rude not to do another album”.

They will embark on the international leg of their tour next month.

Back in January, Gallagher and Squire also promised not to perform any Oasis or Stone Roses material while on this tour.

Elsewhere, Liam Gallagher explained that he wants to “undo” years of burning the candle at both ends. Find out more on this from Nova here.
