Liam Gallagher has announced on social media that he will be returning to the studio once again to work with Adele’s producer Greg Kurstin. That’s after the success of 2017’s album As You Were, which gave us the awesome hits, ‘Paper Crown’ and ‘For What It’s Worth’.

Taking to Twitter, Liam confirmed that he’s heading to the US next week, of course, our kid couldn’t resist having a go at the ‘cosmic pop’ tunes of older brother Noel. Liam said, ‘The hills are live with the sound of LG I’m of to LA nxt Wk to start the follow up to as you were be afraid all you cosmic pop pickers Dilly Dilly as you were LG x’

Dilly Dilly indeed, while it remains a mystery as to when we’ll hear Liam’s latest offerings it looks likely that his huge summer stint of shows across the UK could be the ideal springboard to test them out.

When asked about the possibility of playing new songs at shows in Finsbury Park and the cricket ground at Manchester’s Old Trafford, Liam simply replied: “Maybe. As you were.”
