An investigation is continuing after a man was fatally shot yesterday in West Dublin.
The man was known locally as David Lynch and was killed outside a house in Lucan.
Mr Lynch aged 42-years-old, was known to Gardai and was shot a number of times.
A firearm and burnt out Peugeot van, along with a burnt out silver Toyota Corolla car, were found nearby.
Three crime scenes were set up and gardaì are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
