The incident occured during their performance of 'Seek And Destroy' on Friday June 19th. Hammett appeared to fall on stage after a cover gave way from under him at the edge of the stage.
Fans at the concert recorded the moment and uploaded it to social media, one fan posted this video along with the caption "slip and destroy."

This comes not long after Hammett riled up Taylor Swift fans with a t-shirt he wore on stage in Budapest. He drew criticism for the Love Story singers fans as he wore a t-shirt reading “Taylor Swift Is A CIA Psyop."

This t-shirt has received major backlash online, however Hammett is yet to comment on it.
Metallica performed two nights in Dublin's Aviva Stadium, with Pantera and Avatar supporting. As part of their M72 world tour, they are continuing to use their "No Repeat Weekend” format as they perform different setlists and support acts across two night stops.

In other news, Metallica teamed up with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service (IBTS) and the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service (NIBTS) to encourage blood donation across Ireland. Their aim was to encourage people in Ireland to donate blood during the surrounding weeks of their gigs and to help maintain critical blood supplies for hospitals during the summer period.
