Mumford & Sons Are Coming To Dublin

Mumford & Sons have announced a major Dublin outdoor show this summer, confirming a headline concert at Marlay Park on 5 July 2026.

The band will return to the south Dublin venue for the first time since 2017, when they previously headlined the site as part of Longitude Festival. This time, the group will play a standalone show, with The War on Drugs confirmed as very special guests.

Marlay Park, which has a capacity of approximately 40,000, remains one of Ireland’s primary outdoor concert locations and has hosted recent headline performances from acts including Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift and Hozier. Mumford & Sons’ upcoming appearance forms part of a broader run of European summer dates.

The Dublin show is scheduled between the band’s appearances at BST Hyde Park in London on 4 July and Rock in Roma on 7 July, with additional concerts planned in Groningen, Belgium, and Berlin. The Hyde Park and Dublin dates will both feature The War on Drugs as support.

Tickets for the Marlay Park concert are priced from €91.05 to €101.05, including fees. General sale begins at 9am on Friday 30 January. A number of presale options are also available, including a fan presale via the band’s official community and a Mastercard presale, running from 28 January until the start of general sale. All ticket sales are subject to licence.

The announcement comes ahead of the release of Mumford & Sons’ sixth studio album, Prizefighter, which is due for release on 20 February 2026. The album was co-written and co-produced with Aaron Dessner of The National, marking a renewed collaboration following their work together on the band’s 2015 album Wilder Mind.

Prizefighter was recorded at Long Pond Studio in upstate New York and features a number of recent singles, including ‘The Banjo Song’ and ‘Rubber Band Man’, the latter featuring Hozier. The record follows Delta (2018) and represents the band’s first full-length release in over seven years.

Mumford & Sons’ 2026 touring schedule also includes dates in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Brazil, alongside several major festival appearances. Their Dublin show is currently their only confirmed Irish date for the year.
