It would appear that Neil Young's headline set at Glastonbury 2025 will not be included in the BBC coverage of the event.
The singer had previously been scheduled to play a major slot at Pyramid Stage on Saturday (June 28). Young and his band The Chrome Hearts are set to follow on from The 1975's opening slot the day before. Olivia Rodrigo is set to close out the festival on Sunday.
This comes after Neil Young had previously stated that he had pulled out of Glastonbury, due to creative differences.
“The Chrome Hearts and I were looking forward to playing Glastonbury, one of my all time favorite outdoor gigs. We were told that BBC was now a partner in Glastonbury and wanted us to do a lot of things in a way we were not interested in,” Young said in a statement at the end of last year.
“It seems Glastonbury is now under corporate control and is not the way I remember it being. Thanks for coming to see us the last time! We will not be playing Glastonbury on this tour because it is a corporate turn-off, and not for me like it used to be".
However, Young later changed his mind, calling the whole situation a misunderstanding.
Now, the BBC have shared its coverage plans for this year's festival, which looks set to omit Neil Young's live set on television and radio.
According to the broadcaster, the official coverage will be available on BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds, as well as television and radio throughout the festival.
This includes up to 90 hours of performances across five main stages, including Pyramid, West Holts, Other, Woodsies and The Park.
When it came to Saturday's scheduling, Neil Young's set was not mentioned as being broadcasted for viewers watching at home.
