Noel Gallagher has hinted that he would be open to a Las Vegas residency down the line.

The former Oasis guitarist said that he be open to the idea of performing in Sin City, as part of a residency “later in life”, when he has aged out of touring.

“possibly in later life”

When asked if he would possibly partake in a residency with his band High Flying Birds, Gallagher refused to rule out the idea.

“Would I do Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Vegas? Possibly in later life. You don’t have to go anywhere. You live in the hotel that you play at”, Gallagher said on the Matt Morgan Podcast.

He continued, “Would I do Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Vegas? Possibly in later life. You don’t have to go anywhere. You live in the hotel that you play at”.

“going to be quite the experience”

This comes as Bono, U2 lead singer Bono, and friend of Gallagher’s, kicks off his Vegas residency with U2 this month. Gallagher paid tribute to the Irish singer last month. More on that here.

In fact, Noel Gallagher has outlined plans to see his friend perform in Vegas, along with spending time with his family.

“I’m going on holiday for a couple of weeks, and I’ve got bits to do at the studio, taking the kids away, that kind of thing – then I’m going to Las Vegas to see U2″, Gallagher revealed.

He also added, “They’re doing a residency, ‘Achtung Baby’ – their best album. It’s going to be quite the experience”.

Earlier this month, Noel Gallagher also said that he has turned down offers to host comedy shows, including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and Have I Got News For You.

The High Flying Birds frontman admitted turning down the offer to host ‘Have I Got News For You’, amid fears that he would be out of his depth. More on this from Nova here.
