NPHET is set to meet this afternoon to decide what restrictions can be eased from the 5th April.
It is believe the 5km will be relaxed along with people being allowed to meet up outdoors with another household.
It is also believed that there will be a focus on outdoor activities including golf and tennis.
However there is growing concern at the high case numbers being reported in recent days.
A full decision won’t be made until the cabinet meets tomorrow.
