Oasis have shared footage from their live performance of 'Wonderwall' from one of their recent shows at Dublin's Croke Park.
Last weekend, Oasis headed over to Dublin's Croke Park on August 16 and 17, their first performances on Irish soil since 2008. These shows are part of their ongoing 'Live 25' tour, which began last month at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
The band have also played five sold out shows at Wembley Stadium, two stops at Edinburgh's Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, as well as five homecoming shows at Manchester's Heaton Park. Now, Oasis have shared live footage of them performing their iconic 1995 hit, 'Wonderwall' from Croke Park. Check that out for yourselves here.
While performing at Croke Park, Oasis paid tribute to their Irish roots, as well tipping their hat to Noel and Liam's mother Peggy, who was in the crowd at their first gig in Dublin on August 16. Peggy originally hails from Charlestown, Co Mayo.
After dedicating a live rendition of 'Roll With It' to Peggy, Liam Gallagher paid tribute to his mother.
"Is there anyone here from Mayo, Charlestown?" Liam asked, before joking: "You're not all from there, there's only around five f****** people from there". Liam also dedicated Stand By Me to Peggy, as well as blowing kisses towards her as she sat in the upper tear. More on this story here.
