The Jam star Paul Weller, 58, and wife Hannah, 31, have had their third child together.

Welcoming a little baby girl and naming her ‘Nova’. What a beautiful name, we approve! The couple also have twin boys together, Bowie and John Paul, born in 2012. Weller has five other children from previous marriages aged between 12 and 19. Weller and Hannah married back in 2010 after they met on Weller’s ’22 Dreams’ tour.

A statement read “The Weller family are proud to announce the birth of baby Nova, who was born at home on Saturday evening. She was caught by her daddy after a long and beautiful unassisted labour. Hannah and Nova are doing really well and everyone is enjoying getting to know little Miss Weller.”

Weller has also slated the majority of modern guitar music, describing it as ‘insipid’. The iconic guitarist has also revealed that he has been working with Noel Gallagher on what could be a future Bond theme.

2017 marks the 40th anniversary of Paul Weller’s first album, “In The City”, which he released with The Jam in May 1977. But instead of a re-release, in true Weller style, he’s releasing a new studio album, because releasing new albums is what Paul Weller does. Always moving forwards, almost clinically averse to nostalgia or checking his progress in the rear-view mirror.

You can catch Paul Weller in the Olympia Theatre on the 13th & 14th of February next year. Tickets are €55.65 incl. booking fee & restoration levy.

Tickets for both dates are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.ie
