There are plans to build a white water rafting course, a water polo and kayaking pool and a swift water training facility at George’s Dock in Dublin.
The Irish Times reports that Dublin City Councillors will be presented with the €12 million plan today.
The facility aims to attract kayakers, water polo players and tourists while also being used as a rescue training centre for Dublin Fire Brigade.
