Update:
Protesters have now left KBC Ireland’s head office after staging an occupation earlier this afternoon.
About a dozen protesters took over the lobby of the building just before two o’clock today. A video posted on social media showed about a dozen people sitting down and holding signs.
Meanwhile an investigation into an arson attack on a branch of KBC Ireland in Swords, Co Dublin, is underway.
