Formed in 2023, the band consists of Rosanna Harrington on vocals, Millie Molony on bass and Reese Martin on drums. Drawing inspiration from iconic acts including Fleetwood Mac, The Band, Blondie, and The Last Dinner Party, WineMom have carved out a distinctive sound that blends classic 1970s influences with a distinctly modern edge.
The group have earned praise for crafting songs that balance vintage melodies with contemporary energy creating a "nostalgia rock." Their rapid rise has seen them make appearances on some of Ireland and the UK's biggest stages within just a year of forming.

Irish Music Month returns this September, bringing together Radio Nova and 22 independent radio stations in a collective effort to increase support for homegrown musical talent. Founded in 2021 by Hot Press in partnership with the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI), the initiative aims to boost the amount of Irish music played on local radio while providing a valuable platform for new and developing artists.
Our four selected finalists will each receive €875 for performing live on Radio Nova, with one act progressing as the station's Local Hero. From there, artists have the opportunity to compete for further cash prizes, industry mentoring, recording and mastering sessions, a national PR campaign and guaranteed radio airplay across Ireland.
Even if our 'Local Hero' doesn't make the final six, they remain eligible to win the 'Wildcard Award', which is decided entirely by a public vote and includes an additional €2,500 bursary.
