Roy Keane told presenters Ant and Dec to "dream on, lads, dream on" when they asked him to do 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!'

Ant and Dec recently joined  Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Ian Wright and Keane on the 'Stick To Football' podcast.

Naturally the conversation of 'I'm A Celeb..' came up as Neville asked Keane if he has ever gotten an offer to enter the jungle.

"A couple of times, yeah," Keane stated before dismissing the idea of ever doing the show.

The presenting duo joked with the idea of Keane going into the jungle. Ant said: "Do we need to just go back to ITV today with something signed?" Dec joked, suggesting Keane should write down a figure for them to bring back to ITV.

"Why is it about numbers? Everyone thinks it is about numbers," Keane said.

Dec jokingly suggested that Keane should "have a couple of weeks off" from the podcast. He said: “He could have a couple of weeks off from here, couldn’t he? You don’t want to hang about here like a bad smell.”

Scott also stated that they said if they got Ant and Dec on the podcast they would send Keane "to the jungle." Keane replied with: “Who agreed that? Oh it was agreed behind the scenes.”

Although when Keane was further questioned on if there was "any chance" he would do the show, he replied with "I don't know. I don’t like looking too far forwards. It’s too far away.”

In other news, Keane stated that Michael Carrick should be replaced as the Manchester United coach even if they 'win every game. Keane told Sky Sports that the club needs someone "bigger and better" and that "anyone can win two games."

"If United win every game until the end of the season, I still wouldn't be giving him the job. I still wouldn't be convinced he's the man for the job. Absolutely not. They need a bigger and better manager. The size of the club and the challenges they face over the next few years, you want a manager who you feel can get them winning league titles," Keane said.
